Duties/Responsibilities:
The Project Manager reports to the Vice President of Product Development. This position involves the need to coordinate marketing, documentation, testing, and functional specifications for software products. Program leads at Passageways are supposed to have the "big picture" of the company in mind at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Gather Requirements: organizing user story planning meetings, reviewing support help desk requests, conducting customer-facing webinars, and calling individual customers as needed.

Product Knowledge: understand end users, understand technology marketplace, understand target market for Passageways, understand competing products.

User Story Management: organize and maintain user stories for products, gather success criteria, clarify stories with other team members.

Agile Team: participate in functional specification writing, participate in daily scrum meetings, organize team meetings and schedules, assist team members in clarification of features, contact customers when needed, organize team events requiring outside involvement such as end users for usability testing or staff for specification decisions.

Miscellaneous: other activities as required.

This position will be responsible for the management and delivery of Web-based software business applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

The candidate must have proven experience in applying project management principles especially in the areas of requirements gathering and analysis, scope management, work planning, issue/defect management, and resource management.

The candidate must have the ability to analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical design specifications for Web-based software development.

The candidate must be able to identify and utilize the resources necessary to meet business objectives across multiple projects.

They must be able to collaborate with various roles including executives, product management, project managers and software developers.

There is a strong emphasis on facilitation and communication skills at various levels.
A successful candidate should have:

Background working on web-based business applications

Experience with large, complex, existing code bases is beneficial

Knowledge and experience developing on Microsoft .NET is a plus

BA/BS, or an equivalent educational experience, as well as 3-5 years of industry experience
